How can we consistently experience the Peace of God in our lives?

In Victim Consciousness, depending on which structure for engaging with God resonates most, we have our answer. A fully developed structure in this stage of consciousness is dependent on adhering to a specific set of rules by which to live our lives. Ultimately whatever these rules are, they are incapable of delivering a sustaining experience of the Peace of God. In Victim Consciousness, the polarity resolves as good or evil. Either way, the disempowered separate self is struggling to get it right. There is no peace.

In Manifestor Consciousness the answer is focused on controlling our way to peace. The empowered separate self, striving to make it happen. But separation and the Peace of God are mutually exclusive.

In Conduit Consciousness the answer is as simple as reminding ourselves to embody, opening to the experience of what is actually real (our innate divine wholeness – not as a projection of an idea of wholeness, but the visceral experience of it), followed by complete surrender.

Simple, but not necessarily easy, until eventually it is. And with this deeper experience of the Divine within, comes the awareness that this profound peace underlies everything else, without exception. In every moment is the divine fractal, if only we open up to its expression, that it may flood through every aspect of our inner and outer lives. The separate self integrating, and the whole self beginning to be more fully expressed and experienced. The Peace of God in every sacred moment of our inner and outer lives, no matter what appears to be unfolding.

Where is the Peace of God in Union Consciousness? It is everywhere, in and as everyone and everything. At some level, it’s a question that isn’t asked, for there is no aspect of existence where the Peace of God isn’t fully erupted and expressed.

Possessing and embodying this knowledge are two very different experiences. So, what can we do to embody this awareness?

We can give whatever is coming up for attention, in whatever stage of consciousness we experience it in, our full attention and presence. Rather than suppressing or denying, we can feel the as yet incomplete expression of those aspects still held in separation without becoming identified with the consciousness which gave rise to their experience, while practicing soul embodiment. The combination of these two practices are the necessary components for the transmutation of the wounds and traumas which have held us back from experiencing our divine potential, including the Peace of God.

It’s one thing to speak of this process, and something different to engage with it. Be patient with yourself each step of the way.

Practicing soul embodiment alone is a profound journey whose every expression is steeped in the enlivening of all aspects of you fully, no matter how buried and ancient or surfaced and current, resonant or dissonant.

Practicing authentically and vulnerable feeling and fully expressing whatever comes up through your embodiment journey is an entirely different facet of this process.

It’s important to remember what has taken decades (and lifetimes) to accumulate, and the last number of years (or decades) in preparing to address, may well take some time to work through completely. Each step forward into experiencing and remembering who you are offers rich rewards and extraordinary perspective. One foot in front of the other . . . and eventually you will uncover the Peace of God within you. The more you sit and explore it, the more it will expand into every aspect of your inner, and eventually your outer life.
