What is the price of not speaking and living your truth? In an effort to avoid the discomfort of speaking (and living) your truth now you set it aside, favoring instead a low key approach.

“I’ll go with the flow” you say to yourself.

“It will work out in the end”

“Eventually everything will come into resonance”

It’s true everything will eventually come into resonance, but the price you’ll pay for this, will be significantly greater when you finally get around to speaking and living your truth. It feels like paying deferred interest, but rather than the interest being paid in money, it’s paid emotionally and spiritually.  Sometimes if you wait too long, it is paid physically. Do you remember the first time you calculated how much money you’d have if you took a penny and doubled it every day for 30 days? (the answer if you’ve forgotten is more than US$5MM) It’s like that – but this deferred interest is compounded by the hour – or even by the minute.  That’s how important it is to speak your truth. The pain you seek to avoid by not speaking and living your truth is but a drop in the bucket of the cost you’ll eventually pay to come back into alignment. How do I know so much about this?  How can I speak with such authority? I’ve been paying up of late for the times where I haven’t spoken and lived my truth in the past – and the discomfort of paying the deferred interest is driving this lesson home once again (this time in an especially salient way)! I know that the soul contracts between us are only honored when I speak my truth.  Yet in so many instances throughout my life – even in recent months, I haven’t. It’s clear to me as I reflect on it that the opportunity for my growth is focused on integration so I am living and experiencing the union of all aspects of myself in every part of my life.
