Where’s the Proof? From My Heart #9

Do you look for proof to support your beliefs or the way
you see the world?
I do. And I’ve discovered over and over again, that
whatever my beliefs are, I find proof to support them.
Doesn’t matter if they’re positive or negative, weak or
powerful.
My question for you this week is: what do you do when
your beliefs or your story is getting in the way of your
experience of who you really are? How do you flip
the switch to change your outlook, your perspective
when you get worried, overwhelmed, or you’re in fear?
I have a list of my active projects that I work off of
each day when I’m not in session. It’s a big list and
it grows every day as I think of new things to
refine or explore. In the middle of my list, there’s a
big note I wrote to myself:
IF YOU’RE STRESSED OR IN DOUBT, OVERWHELM, OR
FEAR, GO BENEATH THE SAND, KEN.
That’s my shorthand for take a break and have an
experience of who I really am. It’s easy for me
to forget. And when I get overwhelmed, I need an
experience (proof) to get me back on track. A simple
mantra or affirmation just doesn’t do the trick. Is
it the same with you?
Can you turn things around with mantra or affirmation?
What do you do to change things up, when you start
feeling like you’re stuck in a rut that isn’t serving you?
I’d love to hear from you. Email me and let me know
how you deal with this challenge in your life.
I’m grateful to be connected with you in this way.
Peace,
Ken
