As we’ve already experienced together in the book study, Resonance: The Path of Spiritual Mastery offers a wide range of insights into the spiritual journey depending on the perspective of the reader.
There are several foundational questions that the book brings forward, which we’ve explored at some depth. But there is more to uncover, explore, and integrate. For example: your core lesson, the process of integrating the two expressions of the separate self, and the process of becoming primarily identified with the whole self.
As I’ve been sitting with and receiving from the book, I’ve realized there’s an even bigger opportunity available: an exploration of the book from the perspective of having experienced the six practices of spiritual mastery.
After exploring this at depth, I’ve come to clarity about the container for accomplishing these two goals: an advanced book study circle that begins with deeper exploration of the foundational questions, and then focuses on exploring the book’s themes from the perspective of having engaged and experienced the practices of spiritual mastery.
Excavate Down to Your Bedrock
I refer to the book as an excavation down to the bedrock of spiritual mastery, upon which the foundation (the practices) are built. The book is the understanding that is essential for engaging with the practices.
In the same way, your personal understanding and exploration of the foundational questions the book is inviting you to explore is essential. They are the bedrock for your spiritual journey.
Once you understand your soul’s core lesson, clarity follows. This in turn provides a spotlight for insight around patterns in which the disempowered and empowered separate self have engaged.

One of the byproducts of experiencing the practices of spiritual mastery, is an increased pull towards your divine purpose. You’ve likely been feeling this pull for a long time, and the strength of this call will be amplified as you engage with and integrate the practices into your daily life. Intimacy with God opens the door to the purpose of your life, the same as the sunrise sheds life giving energy across the planet.

The work around integrating your disempowered and empowered separate selves appears to accelerate as you integrate more fully, for what remains in dissonance as you move into and experience resonance, appears to grow more pronounced. Understanding this more deeply can serve to encourage and energize your internal process, so you don’t get discouraged or confused by what is unfolding in your inner and outer life.
- The Stages of Consciousness – a framework for understanding other people’s perspective, the validity of their perspective, and context for understanding in which stage of consciousness you interact with others.

Practical Applications of Spiritual Mastery … From A New Frame of Reference
- The Control Myth. Control is how things get done from a conventional perspective, not just internally, but also externally – in real life. As we revisit Chapter 4 we’ll be exploring the pathway for getting things done that flows from your deeper connection with the Divine on every level of your life, including with your mission – so you can understand the role of your more fully integrated consciousness and what you can “do” through this without any expression of control.
- Healing, always a powerful touchstone for its role in attending to the wounds that are being highlighted as we live life. It becomes even more important and more clear with the 6 practices of spiritual mastery. Your inner journey to wholeness leads to an outer experience of wholeness, and one aspect of this is the blossoming expression of your divine purpose in your life.
- Soul Embodiment and Breaking the Trauma Cycle – even more essential once you really begin engaging this practice and experiencing the transmuting impact it has on whatever is coming up for attention. Embodiment first, last, and always – so you can directly encounter the most essential aspects of your inner experience with the vessel that is your soul’s home in this life, in resonance on each step of your journey.
