Walking My Talk — From My Heart
Is the standard of leadership for a spiritual messenger that we must walk our talk?
My good friend Bob Sima encouraged me to watch a movie on Netflix: Decoding Deepak. Have you seen this movie? It’s a love note from Deepak’s son, Gotham about how he sees his father – in all his glorious contradiction (it’s a great movie!).
It’s a beautiful example of what it means to be a spiritual messenger. Some of the message is embodied – and some of it isn’t … yet.
It’s a good reminder for me! How about you?
On this day I’m reflecting about those aspects of my life where I am fully embodied – and I walk my talk … and I’m also thinking about those aspects of my life where I’m not.
I’m human. So are you. No need for me to build an elevated stage for myself, no need for you to build one for me either.
We stand together – teaching what we need to learn most ourselves. Embodying our Divinity each step of the way. Celebrating our human and divine traits. Is there any difference by the way? 🙂
Let’s cut ourselves some slack and be gentle about those aspects where we’re not fully embodied yet, shall we? Let’s not allow these aspects to hold us back – and let’s not pretend they don’t exist.
Here’s to keeping it real, to being authentic and vulnerable … and most importantly to showing up as you!
That’s it for this week … From My Heart.
Peace,
Ken
