Pain in the A** – From My Heart #25
I’ve been doing a lot of listening and sharing over
the last couple of weeks about challenges.
I think we’re all facing challenge. Seems
to come down to the same thing for
everyone – it’s just wrapped up
differently for each of us – in a way you
can’t ignore.
I can’t ignore mine either. Two weeks ago
I was working on my bio. I read a couple of
bios for other people in my field and noticed
a word that was missing in mine: ‘Expert.’ So
I added ‘expert’ to my bio, figuring I was
supposed to be an expert and went on my way.
Next day my back side started hurting big time.
In a way I couldn’t ignore. I even had to take
some over-the-counter pain meds it was so bad.
Last week I spent some time with friend Melissa.
I mentioned it to her. I was starting to get scared.
Told her I’d love her help with getting rid of the
pain as I couldn’t seem to get to the bottom of it.
She was quiet for a moment and said “this is an
ego thing.”
Turns out my desire to be like the rest and add ‘Expert’
immediately caused a pain in my ass. The minute I
realized it and released it (and struck the word from
my bio) the pain was gone. Annoying no doubt. And
super clear feedback from my intuitive guidance system
the moment I wasn’t in integrity with myself. What’s
out of integrity about claiming to be an expert you
might wonder? I’m on the same journey you’re on –
with you. We’re all learning together.
So where’s the pain in your ass – in your life?
I’m grateful we’re connected this way.
Peace,
Ken
