Feeling Stuck? From My Heart #14
Are you a normal person wanting to have an
extraordinary experience of yourself and your life?
Do you know you’re capable of more, but unsure
how to make that happen for yourself? Somehow
stuck and unable to move forward? If so, I can
identify with you.
As careers go, my career in financial services was
long (12+ years) and relatively productive. I had
a good reputation and many of my clients thought
of me as an extension of their family. Towards the
end of my career I started doing workshops, teaching
strategies for optimizing assets, debts, and tax strategy
so retirement goals could accelerated. I remember a
client asking me when I fell in love with numbers. The
answer: Never – I love helping people – working with
numbers seemed like a good way to do that.
I was passionate about helping people and being a
difference maker. But I wasn’t very happy. I didn’t
know inner peace or joy. I wasn’t very present in my life,
though I understood the concept. Woodworking was
really the only time I was fully present – where I could
experience the flow: turning a bowl on my lathe. I was
sure that I was meant for something more in my life, I
just didn’t know what. I felt stuck.
Looking back, I can see when my big transition started.
Among other things, I had been asking what my purpose
was. I had opportunity after opportunity to face my fears.
Every time I faced my fears I learned something super
important. Every time I stepped away, the lesson
I was meant to learn waited patiently for me.
I’ve been thinking about transitions and getting unstuck
a lot this week. My own life. The lives of my clients
wanting to make a transition, but feeling stuck.
If this is resonating with you, email me. Let’s
connect. I’ve been there, and I understand how
frustrating feeling stuck is. I’ve also learned that God
gave me a gift to help people who are stuck in their life.
I’ve been doing free phone consultations with folks all
around the world and if you’re in any sort of transition
and feeling stuck – and you’d like to connect, let’s make
it happen. I may be able to help you get unstuck.
I so grateful we’re connected in this way. Please make
this a two-way conversation. Comment below – let me
know what’s on your mind. What you’re facing, and what
you’d like to see next in your life. Where you’re stuck.
Peace,
Ken
