What does prosperity mean to you?

For some prosperity is another word for wealth or abundance. Others think of the circumstances they’re in and use it to describe connection with loved ones or good health.

For simplicity, let’s say that prosperity is an expression of resonance that is being experienced or encountered at some level of the mirror (the body, the mind as well as in the outward expression of life – money – relationship – well-being – lifestyle, etc.).

The question is: how can we create the conditions for prosperity in our lives?

There are many different perspectives and answers to this question.

From my perspective, everything we experience on any level of the mirror is coming from the depth of where we first begin to encounter our true Divine presence.

If our goal is a sustaining, fulfilling experience with prosperity, the work must begin at this depth. Otherwise we’re building something on a foundation that is guaranteed to shift.

Explore this with me …

If we approach a foundation of prosperity in Stage 1 consciousness – it comes from pleasing others who have the power. Even when successful, it can’t sustain because the prosperity is being experienced in Stage 1 – in the absence of power.

If we approach prosperity in Stage 2 consciousness – the foundation must be built on ideas and intentions. If thoughts or intentions are impure – colored by limiting beliefs or other sources of mental noise – the foundation falls apart. Even if this challenge is overcome, the fulfillment we seek in Stage 2 is necessarily unachieved, even when the apparent trappings of prosperity are present.

Why is this? Prosperity created in Stage 2 isn’t spiritually sustainable – it’s limited by its origin in the ego or false self (in separation). It’s effectively like eating food that makes you hungrier. No matter how fancy the feast, you walk away even hungrier than when you began.

How can we solve this challenge? We can explore prosperity in Stage 3 or Stage 4 consciousness.

Three elements not present in Stage 2 are essential:

1) Embody into your hips (the seat of the Divine). If your mind is the mast and sail, and your heart is the hull and body of the ship, your hips are the keel. Once you’re fully embodied you’ve lowered the center of gravity enough that you can face the winds of challenge and opportunity out in the ocean of your life and accelerate into prosperity.

2) Experience your wholeness. In your body. Viscerally. With this comes a profound shift because you have experienced yourself as you really are … this is the second step to accelerating prosperity.

3) Throw out the map. Let go of control. Surrender. Stage 2 is all about control. The “price” for entering Stage 3 is letting go. It turns out to be a non-event in terms of what’s required (the answer: nothing) and the upside is extraordinary. Are you interested in experiencing the peace of God? Follow step one – then step 2 – and then surrender completely. You will experience resonance in ways you can’t begin to imagine. A freedom for which there are no words.

These three steps comprise the Spiritual Foundation of Prosperity. As it turns out they’re the Spiritual Foundation for everything. Seriously – that’s it.

Embodiment offers its own journey – as does the journey of wholeness. Full integration demands surrender, for to hold onto control is to hold the false self as separate. What is integration without surrender? It’s an orchestra seated on stage in the concert hall of your life ready to play the symphony of your soul … with no instruments.

By the way: if we try to “jump ahead” to surrender without first embodying, we collapse back into Stage 1. If we attempt wholeness without embodiment, nothing happens.

The Spiritual Foundation is clear. Are you ready to do the work?

That’s it for this week … From My Soul

Peace,
Ken
