Call for Help From My Heart

Ken W Stone

I got a call yesterday from a woman who is at the end of her rope.  I want to share a bit of our conversation with you.  It could be that you’re at the end of your rope – or you know someone who is, who could benefit from reading this.

Perhaps this email gives you a perspective on your own situation that is helpful.  Whatever the impact, I’m going to follow my intuition that this is important to share with you.

Her Challenges:  Major health issues. MAJOR stress on the life front (custody & abuse issues with an ex-spouse).  She’s out of work.  Out of a home at the end of the month.  Two young children.

Her approach to date: Mantras, EFT, and other general “positivity” and “law of attraction” strategies.  Nothing is changing.  She called me to say essentially “What the Bleep??”  She’s feeling like it’s either time for things to change, or time for her to move on.

She’s very clear that she’s not in her body, that there’s major healing that needs to take place.  And she feels that’s she’s surrendering – each morning asking God to fix her life and make it better.

Here’s what I said:

Congratulations on getting to the bottom: The launch pad for true surrender.

Asking God for help, then doing mantras, intentions, etc. is not surrender.  When you surrender and then immediately reassert control (this is what intentions and mantras are -your idea that you need to do to control your life) you have not surrendered.

Surrender has no framework, no expected outcome.  It is completely unknown.  It is not directed.

You’re giving your power away – and this is one of the reasons everything feels helpless. You’ve put other people, circumstances, or situations in charge of your life.

You’re probably not in your body (few people are) and getting back in the body will do wonders for your situation.  So will a powerful practice of experiencing God inside your body (once you’re back in).

Once you’re regularly (several times a day at a minimum) experiencing the Divine within, and you surrender completely, your life will transform.  If for no other reason than this: You will accept everything exactly as it is with no upset or stress (if there’s upset or stress you haven’t surrendered).

This does not mean you stop advocating for your kids, working hard to find a job, etc. – it’s that at the end of each day whatever has happened, you accept it.  And you experience that God is in you – not separate from you.

The source of all your pain and suffering is the illusion of separation (your belief you are separate from God – and therefore separate from yourself and everyone.  This leads to giving power away since you think you don’t have what you need to be whole).

Two things pierce this illusion completely – experiencing your wholeness within – and surrendering (which is your mind intentionally acknowledging it does not have the answer – or even the first clue).  Practice these two things each day.  Your life will transform.

Is it easy?  Yes and no.  No matter what has been done to you in your life – or what you’ve done to other people, God – the Divine – is alive and well inside you.  You ARE whole right now.  You just aren’t having an experience of your wholeness.

God gave me a gift to help you remember and experience your wholeness.  That part is easy.  You just need to do the process (it’s called Beneath the Sand).  Then practice it a couple of times each day.  “Doing” this process means listening to some MP3’s.

Surrender can be easy – or hard.  If you’re anything like me, it’s going to take a profound level of pain and suffering before you give up and surrender.  Or you can choose to end your pain and suffering right now by giving up control.  Stop asserting your ideas of how your life can or should be or how you want it to be.

Stop with the mantras and the intentions. Divine intelligence does not need to be directed (it exceeds your intelligence). You just need to make room for it in your life first.

Experience the Divine within.  Then surrender to the Divine.

A deep resonance in every area of your body and your life that you can’t begin to imagine will result.  You purpose will become clear. You’ll experience your inner peace and joy. You will be present to yourself and your life.

There’s so much more to say, but I’ve said enough for this week…From My Heart.

Peace,
